[오픽 OPIC] 07. 해변 beach

 

Q7-1. Tell me about a beach you like to go to. Where is it? What does it look like? How often do you go to the beach?
좋아하는 해변에 대해 이야기해 주세요. 어디에 있나요? 어떻게 생겼나요? 얼마나 자주 해변에 가나요?

 

I like Gwangalli Beach in Busan. There is a famous bridge called "Gwangandaegyo" there. It looks really beautiful at night when it is lit up. I want to go often, but Busan is too far, so I can only go once or twice a year. Near the beach, there is a market where you can buy fresh sashimi. I like to buy sashimi there and eat it with friends while feeling the sea breeze. There are also many nice cocktail bars and cafes near the beach. I think this place is one of the must-visit spots if you come to Korea. It is a really wonderful place.

Q7-2. Tell me about a beach you recently went to. What did it look like? What did you like about the beach?

The beach I recently visited is in a place called Bacalar in Mexico. It’s not actually a beach by the sea but by a huge lake. The lake is so big and wide that it looks like the sea. The emerald-colored water was incredibly beautiful. There was a sign warning about crocodiles near the water, which was scary, but I didn’t actually see any crocodiles. I went there alone at the time, so it was a bit lonely, but I enjoyed the relaxation. If I have the chance, I’d like to visit there again with friends.

 

Q7-3. Tell me about a memorable trip to a beach. Where did you go? What did you do there? What made it so memorable?
기억에 남는 해변 여행에 대해 이야기해 주세요. 어디로 갔나요? 거기서 무엇을 했나요? 무엇이 그렇게 기억에 남았나요?

 

I’ve tried surfing a few times in Korea, but I haven’t found waves that suit me as well. I can’t forget the feeling of riding across the sea back then. Korea is surrounded by the sea on three sides. I’ve tried surfing in the southern sea, but next time, I plan to try the eastern sea. The waves on the east coast look rougher, so it’s a bit scary, but I think it will be fun.
